The PA-78 is a small, all-purpose machine that can be used to lift various crops such as leeks or potatoes from the soil onto the surface so that they can then be collected by hand. The machine is mounted in the rear of the tractor, it digs the crop out of the ground and deposits it to the left of the right tractor rear wheel for later manual collection. The machine is equipped with a vibrating digging share with round steel fingers which separate loose soil before placing the crop on the surface. The PA-78 is mechanically driven via the tractor's PTO shaft and should be used for a row width of at least 35-40 cm.
