The PA-78 is a small, all-purpose machine that can be used to lift various crops such as leeks or potatoes from the soil onto the surface so that they can then be collected by hand. The machine is equipped with a vibrating digging share with round steel fingers which separate loose soil before placing the crop on the surface. The PA-78 is mechanically driven by the tractors PTO.
