Highest separation for a stone and clod free bed
An effective separation is the basis for the growing of high quality potatoes, carrots, onions and other crop on stony and cloddy fields. The GRIMME destoners of the CS-series are developed for this purpose. The CS series is designed for high performance, best separating quality and the highest economy. Various combinations of stars and main webs give the right solution for the individual grower. The patented RotaPower-shaft increases the sieving output about 25 % compared to traditional systems. The rotor shaft crumbles the compacted soil and prepares it for an increased sieving. Wear and tear of the following star rollers and main webs is significantly reduced.

RotaPower
The RotaPower shaft takes over the heavy work of clod breaking as well as the acceleration of soil, thus it improves the sieving capacity.

Benefits
- The advantages in cultivation of the crop:
- The seed potatoes are placed into a loose, sieved bed.
- The lifted and intensively loosened soil will warm up faster in case of corresponding outside temperatures.
- Through intensive soil cultivation, root crop ground preparation is perfectly achieved so that undisturbed growth of the crop can be guaranteed.
- The cultivation in beds ensures that no driving tracks and thus no soil compaction is created in the potatoes' growth area. This improves the water supply to the plant as well as the root development downwards and thus promotes a safely calculable yield.

- Significantly increased percentage of marketable crop due to less deformations and less damage from clods and stones during harvest.
- Furthermore picking costs are reduced or can be eliminated at all.
- Noticeably higher impact force, as a large proportion of the trash is eliminated.

- Particularly effective carrier- and scraper function as well as long-lasting sieving webs through the reinforcement of every 6th web bars to 16 mm.
- Every 6th bar of the web is reinforced to a diameter of 16 mm, making the web more stable and assuming a carrier- and scraper- function.
- Star roller distance adjustment (option) allows longer use of the stars and reduces maintenance costs.
- Driven clod mat (option) assists with stone and trash conveyance up the webs and breaks clods. The option is most useful on hillsides to ensure an even flow of material through the machine.
