The company SPUDNIK located in Blackfoot, Idaho (USA) was established as family business in 1958. The first machines were designed for the storing and loading of potatoes. The company developed itself in the course of years to the market leader in Northern America. Capable sales partner, first-class service and a well organised parts supply are the basic for the good image of SPUDNIK.

2002 GRIMME and SPUDNIK started a joint-venture to intensify the co-operation and technical know how transfer. Based on the positive experience SPUDNIK became a member of the GRIMME group already in 2003 and employs today over 380 employees. The product range of SPUDNIK includes potato planters, cultivators, harvester, transport and storage equipment specially designed for the American and Asian market. For customers' support Spudnik has their own sales and service shops in Heyburn (Idaho), Grafton (North Dakota) and Presque Isle (Maine).
