For the eighth time since 2004, the GRIMME Group organized the GRIMME Technica, a customer and sales partner trade fair, from 4 to 7 December 2018 at its headquarters in Damme (Germany). With more than 6000 professional visitors an increase of more than 30 % could be achieved compared to the last fair in 2016. Visitors from more than 40 nations, including China, Australia, Turkey, South Africa and the USA, were guests. For the first time there were special events for the worldwide sales partners, a trade day for the customers of beet technology as well as for customers of used machinery. The expansion of activities in the field of vegetable technology and the web-based customer portal myGRIMME were also very well received.

A highlight was beside the exhibition of more than 100 machines from the potato, sugar beet and vegetable sectors the innovation show. The cooperation with the British manufacturer Stanhay in the field of pneumatic precision air seeders, the presentation of the new trailed potato harvester EVO 280 and the new generation of self-propelled beet harvesters of the REXOR Platinum series met with great interest. For the first time, the company tours, which were carried out by the trainees, took place during ongoing production in Damme and Rieste (Germany).
