OVER 120 JOURNALISTS FROM MORE THAN 30 NATIONS

On 4th September 2017, Franz Grimme and Christian Dreyer welcomed more than 120 journalists at the Grimme Hof in glorious sunshine.

In the bright sunshine on the 4th September 2017, Franz Grimme and Christian Dreyer of AMAZONE welcomed more than 120 specialist agricultural journalists at the Grimme Hof in Cappeln. Over the two days the journalists received an extensive overview of all the latest releases from GRIMME and AMAZONE.

Christoph Grimme informed the crowd about the successful financial year 2016. All subsidiaries of the GRIMME Group (GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik, SPUDNIK, ASA-LIFT, INTERNORM and RICON) boasted improved performances. Another key point was the launch of the new start-up, called Schmiede.ONE. This business will capture digital trends in agriculture worldwide and will offer appropriate solutions.

Sebastian Talg, Managing Director of GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik, explained the innovations in beet technology as well as the new concept of GRIMME Premium Services. Dirk-Jan Stapel, Head of Product Management, presented the new PowerCombi, a receiving hopper with integrated optical separation; the crop transfer device, called SoftFlow and the completely new designed two-row potato harvester with 9 ton bunker, called EVO 290. Highlight of the presentation was the new, 4-row self-propelled potato harvester VENTOR 4150. The machine was awarded with a silver medal by the German Agricultural Society (DLG). It is the world's largest road legal potato harvester, with a powerful 530hp engine and a 15 ton bunker.

All machines were demonstrated working in the field, so that each of the journalists could take their own pictures of the innovations.

We would like to thank the employees of AMAZONE for their co-operation, it was a very enjoyable event.
